United Kingdom – Core funder
One of the steadiest supporters of the UIS, the United Kingdom, through its Department for International Development (DFID) and later Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), has funded numerous developments for UIS core work in education.
Most recently, UK funding pooled with other core support has allowed the UIS to substantially increase availability and accessibility of data for SDG 4 monitoring with newly published data and disaggregations.
